Mixed with either Matisse Structure or Matisse Flow acrylic colours it assists in prolonging drying time while maintaining the consistency of the paint.

Optimal for painting outdoors or in particularly hot weather, Open Medium allows the paint to be blended on the painting surface for longer. Artists will be delighted with the way this medium makes their paint handle, so smooth and buttery. Be surprised by the glowing satin finish that this medium imparts to the paints. As little as 10% MM31 Open Medium to the paint, will lengthen the working time, allowing satisfying, smooth blends.

Warlayirti Artists is one of Australia’s leading Indigenous art centres. Situated on the edge of the Great Sandy and Tanami Deserts in northern Western Australia, Balgo is a small community of around 350 people. Warlayirti Artists, however, represents more than 200 artists across the three communities of Balgo, Billiluna and Mulan from seven main language groups.

Last week saw a unique partnership with ReDot Gallery in Singapore and Audi Japan where four of Warlayirti Artists’ male artists will travel to Tokyo to paint their Tjukurrpa onto the latest release Audi motika. Other artworks were also on display, creating an stunning exhibition of new work from Warlayirti Artists in central Tokyo. Click the link below to view the amazing results!

Chapman & Bailey supported this unique project.
