Every week for nearly 20 years I have made time in my week to make art. This hasn’t always
been easy; I have filled sketch books, assembled objects on kitchen tables and painted in my
bedroom. I don’t plan what Im going to paint but paint what I like. The friendly shape of a milk
carton, the yellow black of a computer screen. I chose to exhibit this group of work because of
their strong connection to each other. Each painting of these everyday object defines itself by
what is missing.....
